Hydrate yourself - Drink a Cocktail!
It is noon somewhere, however, I'm not drinking just yet. I've donned my apron and am in the kitchen creating cool, swanky cocktails for my favorite group of Democrats. This is my inaugural post for this new blog which will be weekly musings about our Democracy in the post-Trump trauma years. But on to the cocktails which is why you all are here. District 2 Deep Ellum DaDa-Daquiri 1 oz. Midori Melon Liqueur 1 oz. rum Juice of a whole lime Lime wheel Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini or rocks glass then garnish with lime wheel. If you do not have Midori, use 2 oz. rum instead and add a 1/2 oz of simple syrup.
